Kinn Brewery has a diverse workforce with 14 employees that lend their expertise in many different fields. We enjoy working together and create some great products!
Espen er grunnleggaren av Kinn Bryggeri. I 2009 starta han opp Kinn Bryggeri i eit 80 m2 stort lokale i hovudgata i Florø. Han har stor lidenskap for godt øl og god mat. Espen er lektor i biologi, men etter å ha jobba som lærar i nokre år og bryggja heime på kjøkkenet i endå fleire år, bestemte han seg for å gjere hobbyen til levebrød. Målet til Espen er å lage godt øl og forkynne ølkultur.
Ann-Magritt is Espen’s right-hand woman at Kinn Brewery, having supported the project from the very start. Since autumn 2014, Ann-Magritt has been a kingpin of the administration, with a special flair for marketing and sales. Building on studies of French, Spanish, German and a range of social studies, she also worked as a teacher for many years.
Knut is our very active Chairman. His task is to make sure that we not only brew excellent beers, but also expand and develop as an organisation. Knut has a varied Business Administration background, including as one of the founding members of IT specialists Mercatus in Florø.
Andrew er tilbake som produksjonssjef! Skotten jobba hos oss frå 2018 – 2020 og sommaren 2022 greidde vi heldigvis å lokke han tilbake til Florø. Andrew har mykje erfaring frå bryggeri i Canada, New Zealand og Estland og han har solid har utdanning frå Harriot-Watt University. Andrew held ei stødig hand på produksjonen.
Federico frå Italia begynte hos Kinn Bryggeri våren 2022. Federico har mykje erfaring frå serveringsbransjen og er vinsommelier, men også lidenskapleg opptatt av øl. I tillegg har han stor språkinteresse og har studert både norsk og tysk. Federico har etterkvart tatt over bryggjinga på Vesle Kinn.
Greg comes from Silesia, a region in Southern Poland. His passion to discover the world brought him to get a Masters Degree in Geography and Pedagogics. During and after studies he went for hitchhiking trips through Europe. Once he got to Norway he fell in love with the nature and decided to stay. His homebrewer skills and experience from different breweries in Norway over the last 8 years led him to a bottling manager position at Kinn Bryggeri.
Petter Odin is a local Florø lad, homebrewer and qualified chef. He brings a wealth of experience from top restaurants in Norway and Sweden alike, and thanks to his passion for taste, he is the perfect fit for the Kinn Team.
Joakim er ein ekte Florøgut med stor lidenskap for Kinn-øl. Han har jobba i skuleverket med ungdommar i mange år og har erfaring som bartendar, men hausten 2022 blei han ein del av Kinn-familien og held no styr på lageret.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Raoul is forever searching for higher ground. Whilst chasing snowy peaks around the world, he discovered his passion for beer. He returned to his roots to explore the traditional European beer styles that he loves the most – first training as a beer sommelier, before turning his hand to production. Working at Kinn Raoul is able to pursue his two greatest passions together: outdoor sports and great beer.
Thomas is a talented home-brewer who came to us on a temporary basis in summer 2014. He joined the sales team in winter 2015. Among his initiatives are visitor events and staff training sessions at restaurants and bars. He is also our link with old and new customers. Autumn 2017 Thomas became Sales Manager for the Horeca-market. He brings an education in marketing and finance.
LingWu started working for us as a Logistics Coordinator in spring 2019. With 11 years of experience from warehouse practice and logistics as his chosen subject, he is well qualified to keep our shelves tidy and dispatch our precious wares to waiting customers. Thank goodness for a tidy mind!
Oda has been the brewery’s chief designer since the outset. Her office is responsible for the beer labels, illustrations and visual design at Kinn, and she has later expanded her repertoire with commissions for a variety of other businesses. Oda trained in Visual Communication at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in England
